If you are a business owner, here are powerful ways to present a Maglite engraved with your logo. Don’t ever give a quality gift in a casual manner.
Present the Maglites® at the annual business banquet.
Give them as safety awards at your yearly safety meeting.
Give them one at a time, as each recipient walks up to the podium beside you.
Take a group picture of all the employee recipients, and include it in the press release you give to the newspapers.
When visiting your best customers, present the Maglite® to them as soon as you greet them. That is the sole purpose of your visit. Even so, they might use the opportunity to buy your product or services.
Following this advice will make your investment give you many rewards.
Anthony Maglica is the genius businessman and inventor of Maglite Flashlights. He has taken Maglite® from its beginnings in 1979 to a major USA-made manufacturer of superior torches. From the first D-cell flashlight, he developed the AA Mini Maglite®, then the AAA Mini Maglite® in 1987. What is his next big announcement?
He is coming out with a rechargeable one that will take an 80% charge in only 1/2 hour.
Also Anthony is releasing a new 4D cell flashlight that can last as long as 18 days, without turning it off.
The original Promotional Maglights were made for type C and D batteries. Today, there are rechargeable versions, and models that use AA and AAA batteries. You are sure to find one that suits your needs. Your company logo will look great laser engraved on the barrel.
With modern printing technology, your company logo can be printed in full color
on a Maglite® barrel. Sometimes this looks great. But sometimes, depending on the barrel color and your logo color, we have to lay down a light base color, so your real colors will look vibrant. This way, a dark barrel won’t show through the light colors of your logo. The drawback of this, is that the base color imprint might show at the edges of your logo.
Full color imprinting will last forever, unless something sharp scratches it. For a permanent imprint of your corporate logo, I suggest getting your Maglite engraved using modern laser technology. Laser engraving is actually scratched through the anodized layer and goes down into the aluminum barrel itself. It can’t be rubbed off or affected by scratching.
When you are shopping for Maglite flashlights, you will be faced with the decision of whether to get an LED (light emitting diode) or incandescent bulb. Which one should you choose? It’s kind of like choosing between a Lincoln Navigator and a Ford Fusion. There’s a difference in price, and a difference in
The LED bulb is much brighter, but more expensive than the original incandescent bulb. So, do you want more quality, or more economy. Both types of Maglite® are popular, and as far as I know, neither one is destined for cancellation.
Another feature of the LED Maglites is the ability to have different modes. You can have different brightnesses, strobe, and SOS. All this is possible because of an advanced electronic circuit.
I hope this makes it easier to make your decision.
Promotional Maglites® are used by law enforcement officers and EMT’s. They are not only essential tools in their arsenal, they can be used for promotional purposes. Why not put the badge image or company logo on the barrel? The best Maglites® for every day use are the 2AALED Mini Maglite® LED and the MAG-TAC® LED Flashlight – Bezel Edge.
Why? Both Maglites® are powerful and small enough to keep in your pocket or a pouch.
Laser engraving is an art and a science. It requires a special laser engraving machine. Not all laser machines can properly engrave on anodized aluminum. Even if you have the right machine, you need to:
Try engraving some test pieces to find the right voltage
The right number of passes
The right position on the Maglite® barrel
The right size of imprint, so the logo doesn’t get distorted at the top and bottom edges.
Make a jig, so you can engrave all the barrels at the same exact place.
The best way to get a Maglite engraved is to find a professional engraver, and one that engraves Maglites® all the time. Of course, the internet is the best place to find such a company.
