In the process, Zippo has stopped production of all pocket knives and tape measures. This news came as a shock to all the promotional product distributors in America. Zippo continues to make their popular Zippo wind-proof lighters, and the new Multi-purpose Lighters. Zippo was established in 1932 by George G. Blaisdell, and has a rich history due to its employees and collectors. After 75 years, the famous Zippo wind-proof lighters continue to hold the interest of collectors world-wide.
